I got to coming up to the doorway of the Springfield Hilton and looking over my right shoulder at this beautiful mural on this tour bus. About then this little guy came barreling out the door and ran into me. I grabbed him as he bounced off of me and kept him from going down to the sidewalk and I said, "I am so sorry. I should have been watching where I was going but I got to staring at this beautiful tour bus and (looking at his face)... oh my God... you're Willie Nelson and I bet these are your tour buses and man do I feel like a dumb ass." Willie and his band laughed as Willie gave me a hug and said, "Yeah, I just had those buses painted and I really like them, too. Are you coming out to hear us play?" I told him what I was up to as he was playing when I was presenting so regrettably I was not. So where I am going with this story... that bus in your new music video is the exact same bus as that day way back when. I know as I have kept track of it over the years. Could have even bought it at one point in time as it went up for auction.

Only a few group of women had me this excited about country and they are and I’ve seen them all in concert Miss Loretta Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly, Emmylou Harris, Crystal Gayle stand by your man and the queen of that type of country, EC. However, the difference between all of them and you is that I could honestly say that you were my hero and savior at a time that I am fighting for the dignity of my life, and when I get down and depressed and don’t want to exist anymore, I listen to you and knowing how hard you fought to get where you are now I use that energy to fight to live another day because of the severity of the pain that I have to live withfor the rest of my life.

I'm nearing 74 yrs, and have made it through some rough bumpy trails and switch-backs. Not un-scarred, but hopefully a bit wiser. I have tried talking to him many times about just how superficial possessions and that next dollar truly are, but to no avail. I suspect he has his own trials and tribulations waiting for him.
